Healing happens when you feel safe, heard and supported. Sophia ("Sophie") is a trauma-informed psychotherapist specializing in anxiety, pediatric mental health, infertility support, medical family therapy, and veteran/first responder mental wellness. As a Certified Medical Family Therapist serving clients in Los Angeles and throughout California Sophie provides holistic, trauma-informed therapy for those emotionally impacted by medical and health challenges, occupational events and life events. She specializes in infertility counseling, pregnancy loss, chronic illness, cancer support, traumatic brain injury (TBI), anxiety, PTSD, C-PTSD, anxiety, MST, and depression. By integrating medical family therapy with evidence-based psychotherapy she helps clients understand the connection between physical health, emotional wellbeing, and relationships. Sophie helps you to reduce anxiety symptoms, process grief, strengthen communication skills, reduce PTSD symptoms, safety planning, and build resilience.
